It’s the last day of 2014! It’s been a whirlwind of a year. Now it’s time to ring in a new one. But before you sign off to celebrate, I want to send you into 2015 prepared. What’s ahead for you in 2015 in the nonprofit industry? Let’s count down the top 5 trends* for you and your organization to be on the lookout for and to learn more about in the New Year.
Don’t worry, it’s a quick countdown. I won’t be lengthy here. And away we go:
Big investments in nonprofit leadership! Coaching, training, and development amongst nonprofit workers grows, breeding better leaders that are poised to effect change.
Is your organization measuring its outcomes and impact? If not, you’re not alone. But next year, a plan is in the works to develop a better framework to determine which nonprofits should be considered “high performing.”
Nonprofit overhead. Good news: Overhead expenses no longer equate to nonprofit inefficiency and ineffectiveness!
Crowdfunding grows. We talked about it in last week’s Monthly Roundup. The way you fundraise and source money might change…and the number one trend for nonprofits in 2015 is…
The Sharing Economy – how can your nonprofit join AirBnB and TaskRabbit in the sharing economy?
Make it a New Year’s resolution to learn more about these trends.
